PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice of Vacancy - Church Wells Special Service District
Notice is hereby given that the Church Wells Special Service District's Administrative Control Board is looking to fill three (3) vacant positions. The term for these positions will expire 12/31/2029. Each subsequent term will be 4 years in length.
Applicants wishing to apply for these positions must be a registered voter residing within the boundaries of the district. Additionally, a successful applicant must have been a resident for a minimum of one year; must have a clear history on water billing; and must also be in good standing with their account with the Church Wells Special Service District. Anyone interested in filling these positions may submit a signed letter of intent and a brief resume to the following address:

Hand delivered letters may be dropped off in the Clerk's Office at the Kane County Admin Building.

Please submit letters of intent by 5:00 pm, Monday, October 27, 2025.
Applicants will be interviewed by the commissioner assigned as a liaison to the district, who will then make a recommendation for appointment to the full County Commission.
