4. Funding for Next Year Action Item: Vote as a Council to approve funding.
TSSA (TSSP Plan).
Summer work opportunity.
Funded PBIS (drawings, rewards, etc).
Elective Teacher - Reduce class size in core subjects.
After-School Tutoring
Bilingual Para
2 Classroom support paras
FTE funding - Supplement FTE.
Half of a teacher's salary in core subjects is paid through this funding.
Trustlands Plan
- Paraprofessional support in classrooms.
Largest bulk of funding. Approx. $120,000. 8 paraprofessionals and
half of an art teacher salary.
- Yellowstone science trip -
Approximately $12,500 would almost fund a science capstone trip for
20-25 8th grade students.
- Professional development.
Approximately $3000 for teacher development and
conferences.
- Stipends - Teachers with extra duties. Approximately $12,000.
- Ell student support - Acquire translation tools to increase communication and achievement for new students with limited English proficiency.
