- Utah Department of Transportation Utah Transportation Commission Kane County Area Road Tour Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 2 p.m. ITINERARY 2:00 p.m. Meet in the parking lot of the Kanab City Office building, located at 26 North 100 East, Kanab 2:15 p.m. Depart for Area Road Tour The following projects will be discussed: US-89 Kanab Creek Bridge to MP 72 US 89 Pavement sections from Kanab to Glendale US 89 Mt. Carmel Junction to Muddy Canyon Passing Lane US-89 Utah Trail Network: Mt. Carmel Junction to Orderville SR-9 Perennial Slide Maintenance Repairs SR-9 East Zion Roundabout & Improvements SR-9 Zion Canyon Fiber Optics East Zion Vision Kane County Active Transportation and Transit 3:45 p.m. Return to Kanab City Office building. End of Tour. ** SPACE IS LIMITED** CONTACT HEATHER BARTHOLD (hbarthold@utah.gov) IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND The purpose of a tour or field visit is for the Commission to review and understand area needs and construction projects that are upcoming, in progress or completed.
