NOTICE TO CANCEL 2025 ELECTION
Utah Code for Local Districts 17B-1-306 and Utah Code for Elections 20A-1-206 states that a Local District may cancel an election if the ballot for the election will not have any contested races or a ballot proposition. Because the number of candidates who filed for the open seats will have no contested candidates and there will be no propositions on the ballot, the Board of Trustees have passed Resolution 2025-03 to Cancel the 2025 Election. The Resolution was passed at the board meeting held on September 18, 2025 and passed unanimously.
Therefore, notice is hereby given that Uintah Highlands Improvement District has passed a resolution to Cancel the 2025 Election for 3 Board of Trustee seats and have declared the following candidates to be elected to fill the seats, beginning their 4-Year Terms on January 1, 2026.
Candidates are:
Blaine E. Brough
Brock D. Loomis
Cody D. Pedersen
