OFFICIAL PUBLIC NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION The 2025 Municipal General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Ballots will be mailed out to eligible voters starting on October 14, 2025. Voters must be of legal voting age, citizens of the United States, and reside in the precinct in which they are registered. Voters can verify their registration status at www.vote.utah.gov. Voter registrations must be received by the county clerk before 5 p.m. October 24, 2025. However, voters may register to vote at an early voting location or at a polling location on Election Day. In-person voting will take place at the Weber Center (2380 Washington blvd., Ogden) from Noon - 6 p.m. on October 28 - 31, 2025. On Election Day, November 4, 2025, voting hours will be from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. at the Weber Center (2380 Washington blvd., Ogden) and the Ogden Valley Library (131 S 7400 E, Huntsville). Secure Ballot Drop Boxes are conveniently located at every city office located in Weber County, every county library, the Weber Center parking lot, and on campus at Weber State University. Drop boxes are open 24 hours a day and close promptly at 8 p.m. on Election Day. A public demonstration will be held on October 7, 2025, at 11 a.m. to test the voting system that will be used for the General Election. A post-election audit of the General Election will be held on November 12, 2025, at 12:15 p.m. Both events will be held in the basement of the Weber Center (2380 Washington blvd., Ogden). In accordance with Utah Code §20A-5-405(1), notice is hereby given that a sample ballot for Marriott-Slaterville City for the 2025 Municipal General Election is posted or may be obtained from the following sources: 1. Marriott-Slaterville City Website: https://www.marriott-slaterville.org/government/page/2025-municipal-election. 2. Posted at: Marriott-Slaterville City Office, Marriott Park, or Slaterville Park. 3. Marriott-Slaterville mailing address at: 1570 West 400 North, MSC, Utah 84404. 4. Or by calling Marriott-Slaterville City Office during business hours at: 801-629-1919. NOTICE CANCELING THE MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE CITY 2015 ELECTION In accordance with UCA 20A-1-206, the Marriott-Slaterville City Council adopted a Resolution on September 17, 2015, cancelling the 2015 Marriott-Slaterville City Municipal Election based upon the number of candidates not exceeding the number of municipal offices elected, and no write-in candidates filed by the September 4, 2015, deadline. Questions can be directed to the City Recorder's at 801-627-1919 ext. 202. A copy of the Resolution is available for review at City Hall, located at 1570 West 400 North, Marriott-Slaterville, Utah.
