Meeting Nine Agenda, held Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the City meeting room
located at 111 S. Main Street, La Verkin Utah.

5. Review and approve any new updates of suggested historical sites.
1. Other sites open for discussion: Petroglyphs down by Confluence Park.

6. Discuss any new ideas/methods to organize listed projects and old actions from the last
meeting:
7. Mission Statement submitted to the city. Group photo is requested.
8. Plaques and websites to include links for information and pictures in the city web
page. Continued coordination with the City web page will be required. At this
point the Commission can solicit artifacts from community members.
9. Need to come up with a budget amount we can ask the city for - earmarked for
plaques.
10. How to request photos and histories:
a. Messages/letters on water bills, or requests on facebook for individuals to write
up their home history can be published once there is infrastructure in place to
house all the data.
11. Additional research is still needed on plaque types for a more permanent solution.
12. Still plan to talk with people at the WA County Historical Society.

explore options there.
