IRON COUNTY, UTAH IRON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION & COUNTY COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE General Plan Tier and Zoning Consideration The Iron County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and consider action (recommendation) during their meeting, on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Festival Hall located at 105 North 100 East, Cedar City, Utah. The County Commission will hold a public hearing and consider action at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Iron County Courthouse located at 68 S 100 E, Parowan, Utah. The hearings are to receive public comment on a proposed General Plan Tier Change (Tier III to Tier IV, Tier IV to Tier II, & Tier II to Tier IV) and Zoning Map Amendment ('A-20, R-1 & R-1/2 to R-5; A-20, C & SPA to RA-20, C to A-20') for properties currently in and around the Brian Head Tier I Urbanized Area. Applicant: Iron County Properties generally located within Section 30, T35S, R8W; Sections 22-28, & 32-35, T35S, R9W; Sections 3 & 4, T36S, R9W, SLB&M. All interested persons are invited to attend.
