NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting along with a Work Meeting with Staff Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center, beginning at 12:00 noon. 1) Invocation 2) Consideration for and Adoption of a parameter Resolution authorizing the issuance of not to exceed $500,000 in Sales Tax Revenue Bonds of Gunnison City, Sanpete County, Utah and Calling of a Public Hearing to receive input with respect to the Issuance of such Bonds and any potential impact to the private sector from the Construction of the Project 3) Review Water Rights and Possible Approval of Action to Protect Water Rights for Future Use 4) Review and Discuss City Council Goals for 2012 and Determine Projects and Actions Needed to Accomplish those Goals 5) Discuss and Evaluate Upcoming Projects in 2012 including Discussion of Storage Yard Development 6) Discuss and Develop 5 Year Plan for Gunnison City 7) Review Personnel Policy Manual, Discuss Individual Policies and Evaluate Purpose and Possible Revisions to Better Meet City needs or Clarify intent 8) Review and Discuss Current Status of each Department and needs that will Require Attention in the upcoming Budget Discussions – Department Heads 9) 12:45 p.m. Central Utah Correctional Facility Update – Warden Sorensen 10) Proposed Approval City Council Meeting Minutes for Thursday, January 19, 2012 Open Session and Thursday, January 26, 2012, Open and Closed Session 11) Future Items to be Listed on Agenda 12) Proposed Approval Bills and Adjustments 13) Closed Session 14) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
