of Laketown Town Council will hold a Public Hearing for the purpose of Opening the 2025-26 Fiscal Year Budget at 6:00 PM in the Laketown Town Office
located at 10 North 200 East Laketown, Utah.
Following this Public Hearing the Town Council will hold a

Public Notice:
Open the 2025-26 Budget
The purpose of opening the budget is to make the following adjustments:
1. As per the State Auditors request, adjust the General Budget Transfer Out amount and the Water Budget Transfer In amount to correspond with each other. ($30,000)
2. Increase the Capital Projects Fund Streets Capital outlay from $200,000 to $217,017.95 to match the actual cost of town road improvement for the fiscal year
3. Add the following categories and anticipated revenue in the General Fund Revenue
a. Building Inspection: Permit Deposits ($5000)
b. Building Inspection: Permit Fee ($40,000)
c. Building Inspection: Permit Renewal Fee ($500)
d. Building Inspection: Plan Review Fee ($20,000)
4. Add the following categories and anticipated expenses in the General Fund Expenses
a. Building Inspection: Refund Deposit ($5,000)
b. Building Inspection: Building Inspector Fees ($20,000)
c. Building Inspection: Office Supplies & Misc. ($1,000)
d. Building Inspection: State Fee ($1,000)
5. Adjust the Activity Committee Event Expense Budget Amount to reflect the correct amount carried over from the last fiscal year ($20,702)
6. Increase the General Fund: Expenditures: Admin Codification (from $4,000 to $6000)
The public is invited to attend and may give written or oral comments. All public hearing items will be discussed and/or approved during the Laketown Town Council meeting, directly following this Public Hearing.
