Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF ELECTION Utah Code 20A-1-206 states that a municipal legislative body may cancel an election if the ballot for the election will not include any contested races or a ballot proposition. Because of the number of candidates who filed for the available seats, there will be no contested races on the ballot for the 2025 Election, nor will there be a ballot proposition. Therefore, notice is hereby given that the South Ogden City Council has passed a resolution cancelling the South Ogden City 2025 Election and declaring the following candidates as elected: Russell L. Porter- Mayor Mike T. Howard- City Council Clayton Peterson- City Council A copy of this notice may be viewed or obtained by visiting the Office of the City Recorder, 3950 Adams Ave., South Ogden City, UT, 84403 or by calling 801-622-2709 to request a copy. This notice can also be found at www.southogdencity.gov.
