Description/Agenda: Notice of Cancellation of the 2025 Municipal Election for Washington Terrace City In accordance with UCA 20A-1-206, the City of Washington Terrace passed a resolution on September 16, 2025, to cancel the City Municipal Election scheduled for the year 2025 based on the following criteria: The number of municipal officer candidates does not exceed the number of open at-large municipal offices for which the candidates filed; There were no write-in candidates filing for candidacy as of the deadline date; Each municipal officer candidate is unopposed; There are no other contested municipal ballot propositions. The candidates who qualified for the ballot are considered elected. The Mayoral seat will be filled on January 6, 2026 by: Mark C. Allen. Two Council Member seats will be filled on January 6, 2026 by: Jeff West and Jessie Anna Jean Whitnack-Davidson. Published September 17, 2025 City Recorder Amy Rodriguez
