Promise Partnership
Results Matter Report (link)
Information about Promise Partnership Utah, if helpful: Promise Partnership Utah is not a single organization. It is a cross-sector partnership that has made a collective promise to our youth: together we will help each of them succeed through the milestones of childhood so that 100% of young people - 22,500 by 2030 - are on a path to economic mobility. Promise Partnership Utah is the civic infrastructure necessary for people and organizations to work together as a single team to make good on that promise. The Partnership is supported by a backbone team of partnership facilitators and data specialists housed at Utah's Promise.
Information about me, if helpful: Amy Ahrens Terpstra is the Chief Impact Officer at Utah's Promise, where she leads the Promise Partnership Utah backbone team, advancing collective impact strategies that drive measurable, community-wide change across education, basic needs, and early childhood sectors. With 20 years of experience in social impact, participatory research, and results-based accountability, she partners with local community, education, and civic leaders to elevate community voices and promote data-driven action for more equitable outcomes. Previously, Amy directed the Social IMPACT Research Center at Heartland Alliance in Chicago, leading research focused on poverty alleviation and social justice. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
