Planning Commission Vacancy
The Mayor of Santaquin City is now accepting 'Letters of Interest' from those interested in filling a Planning Commission vacancy. 'Letters of Interest' may be submitted either by mail or in person to 110 S. Center Street, Santaquin, UT 84655. Letters may also be emailed to the City Recorder, Amalie Ottley at aottley@santaquin.gov and will be accepted until 5:00 pm on Monday, September 29th, 2025.
Selection of Members:
a. Qualifications: Each member of the Planning Commission shall:
1. Be a resident of Santaquin City.
2. Have maintained permanent residency in the City of Santaquin for the immediately preceding (6) months prior to appointment.
Purpose:
a. The Planning Commission advises the City Council regarding matters specifically set forth herein in Title 10 and 19 of the Santaquin City Codes. The Planning Commission also makes recommendations to the legislative body for:
1. Amendments to the General Plan;
2. Land use ordinances, zoning, official maps, and amendments;
The undersigned duly appointed City Recorder for the municipality of Santaquin City hereby certifies that a copy of the foregoing Public Notice was posted at the City Hall Building at 110 S. Center Street, on www.santaquin.gov, Santaquin City social media sites, and posted on the State of Utah's Public Notice website at https://www.utah.gov/pmn/index.html.
