- Notice of Vacancy - Canyon Land Improvement District Notice is hereby given that the Canyon Land Improvement District's Board of Trustees is looking to fill one (1) vacant position. The term for this position will expire 12/31/2029. Each subsequent term will be 4 years in length. Applicants wishing to apply for this Board must be a property owner or an agent or officer of a property owner. Anyone interested in filling this position may submit a signed letter of interest and a brief resume to the following address: Kane County Commission c/o Morgan Shakespear 76 North Main, Kanab, Utah 84741 Hand delivered letters may be dropped off in the Clerk's Office at the Kane County Admin Building. Email submissions can be sent to: mshakespear@kane.utah.gov. Please submit letter of intent by 5:00 pm, Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Applicants will be interviewed by the commissioner assigned as a liaison to the district, who will then make a recommendation for appointment to the full County Commission.
