CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT
ELECTION NOTICE
Johnson Water Improvement District (JWID) Board of Trustees hereby notifies all registered voters/residents of JWID that the 2025 Special Service District Election has been cancelled pursuant to 20A-1-206 of the Utah Code due to the number of candidates not exceeding the number of open positions.
The JWID Board of Trustees will pass Resolution #25-1 on September 18, 2025, at the board meeting held once a month to cancel the 2025 Special Service District Election and hereby certifies that:
- There are no district ballot propositions for the local election;
- Each district candidate is unopposed;
- Each district candidate is considered to be elected to office;
- The resolution is passed more than 20 days before the day of the scheduled election.
The Resolution #25-1 may be viewed on the district website at jwidwater.org along with the names of the district candidates who will be elected to the board of trustees at the first meeting in January 2026.
