NOTICE is further given that the Board of County Commissioners will, on Tuesday, the 21st day of October 2025 at the hour of 10:00 a.m. of said day, at the County Commissioners' Room in the County Courthouse at Fillmore, Millard County, Utah, located at 50 South Main, Fillmore, Utah 84631, fill such vacancy by appointing a qualified person for the remainder of the four-year term which will expire at 12:00 noon on the first Monday in January, 2029, and thereafter until his/her successor in office is duly appointed and qualified. A trustee must be a registered voter and reside within the boundaries of Special Service District No. 8. Any person desiring to be appointed to fill such vacancy shall contact Marki Rowley, Millard County Clerk, at 765 South Highway 99, Fillmore, Utah 84631 or email mrowley@millardcounty.gov. Such shall be received on or before the 20th day of October 2025 by Marki Rowley to be considered for such appointment. Pursuant to Utah Code Ann. ยงยง 17B-1-304 and 63G-30-102, the Millard County Commission shall cause this Notice of Vacancy to be published on the Utah Public Notice Website, the Millard County website, and to be posted in a public location within such Special Service District No. 8 at least one month before the deadline for accepting nominees for appointment.
