SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE FOR PENDING VACANCIES (2) ON THE METROPOLITAN WATER DISTRICT OF SALT LAKE AND SANDY BOARD OF TRUSTEES UTAH CODE ANNOTATED 17B-1-304. The Salt Lake City Council announces pending vacancies on the Board. There are two (2) positions available. Persons interested in applying for consideration must be a resident of Salt Lake City, a registered voter and a property taxpayer. The term of office for appointed trustees is four years. All employees and all elected and appointed officials of Salt Lake City and the Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake and Sandy are ineligible. The appointment of trustees shall be made without regard to partisan political affiliations and shall be made from citizens of the highest integrity, attainment, competence, and standing in the community of Salt Lake City. About the Board: Metro Water is overseen by a Board of seven members serving four years. The Salt Lake City Council appoints five Trustees, and the Sandy City Council appoints two.
