CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT
ELECTION NOTICE
East Duchesne Culinary Water Improvement District (EDCWID) board of trustees hereby notifies all registered voters/residents of EDCWID that the 2025 Special Service District Election has been cancelled pursuant to ยง20A-1-206 of the Utah Code due to the number of candidates not exceeding the number of open positions.
The EDCWID board of trustees will pass Resolution 25-1 on September 10, 2025, at the board meeting held once a month, to cancel the 2025 Special Service District Election and hereby certifies that:
1. There are no district ballot propositions for the local election;
2. Each district candidate is unopposed;
3. Each district candidate is considered to be elected to office;
4. The Resolution is passed more than 20 days before the day of the scheduled election.
Said Resolution #25-1 may be viewed on the district website at eastduchesnewater.gov along with the names of the district candidates who will be elected to the board of trustees at the first board meeting in January 2026.
I, JoAnn Evans, the duly appointed and acting District Clerk/Administrative Assistant for the EDCWID, hereby certify that copies of the foregoing Cancellation of the Special Service District Election Notice were posted on the district website at eastduchesnewater.gov, Utah Public Notice Website and at five public places within the district boundaries the 11th day of September 2025.
