Public Hearing Notice
The Gunnison City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Gunnison City Hall, located at 38 West Center Street.
The purpose of the hearing is to gather public input on a proposed application to the Community Impact Board (CIB) for funding to support the construction of a new city well and related water line infrastructure. The estimated total cost of the project exceeds $16 million. Funding sources include:
- $5.5 million from the State of Utah
- $5.5 million requested from USDA Rural Development
- Additional funding requested from the CIB to complete the project
