- The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) proposes a land purchase of a private land parcel in Iron County adjacent to the Parowan Valley Wildlife Management Area (WMA). The parcel will be incorporated into the WMA and managed for the federally threatened Utah prairie dog colony present there. Once acquired, the property will be managed in accordance to the existing Habitat Management Plan.
