Proposed Agriculture Protection Area - Adjacent Property Owner Notification
SUBJECT PROPERTY: Approximately 105.51 acres located in Section 19, T35S, R11W on the following five parcels, zoned A-20 and RA-20:
1. APN: D-0624-0010-0000; 39.00 acres, approx. 3200 N 4100 W, Cedar City, UT
2. APN: D-0604-0009-0000; 0.53 acres, 3216 N 4100 W, Cedar City, UT
3. APN: D-0604-0003-0001; 20.00 acres, 3246 N 3900 W, Cedar City, UT
4. APN: D-0602-0001-0000; 25.98 acres, approx. 640 feet west of 4100 W, south side of 4000 N, Cedar City, UT
5. APN: D-0602-0001-0010; 20.00 acres, southwest corner of 4000 N & 4100 W, Cedar City, UT
Proposed Application for Subject Property: Creation of an 'Agriculture Protection Area'

Dear Property Owner,
As a recipient of this letter, you have been identified as a property owner or an adjacent or surrounding property owner of record to land being proposed for the creation of an 'Agriculture Protection Area.'
The applicant, Clark and Ruth Webster, has applied for an Agriculture Protection Area as provided by Utah State Law (U.C.A. § 17-41). The proposal is open to public inspection in the offices of the Iron County Clerk and the County Planning Office. Any person affected by the establishment of the Agriculture Protection Area may, within 15 days of the date of this notice, file with the county a written:
- Objection to the proposal; or
- Request to modify the proposal to exclude land from, or add land to, the proposed protection area (one response has been received, requesting additional acreage be added to the APA).
The Iron County Planning Commission and the Iron County Agriculture Protection Area Advisory Board will review and make recommendations on the proposal. Written comments may be sent to:

According to Utah Code § 17-41-304, the Iron County Commission will hold a public hearing to discuss and hear public comment on the proposal, the recommendations of the Planning Commission and Advisory Board, any requests for modification of the proposal, and any objections to the proposal. The public hearing is scheduled for Monday, October 27, 10:00 AM, Iron County Courthouse (68 S 100 E, Parowan, UT).
