CLEVELAND TOWN PUBLIC NOTICE
Cleveland Town has a vacant town council position, due to the Danae' Jensen turning in a letter of resignation on August 14, 2025. Pursuant to Utah Code Ann. ¶ 20A-1-510, within 30 days of resignation, the city council must appoint a registered voter who resides in the municipality and is qualified to fill the unexpired term of the vacated office until the next election year in 2027.
If you are interested, please submit your letter of interest for consideration to Cleveland Town Clerk/Recorder Nancy Livingston no later than Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2025, by 3:30 p.m.
The city council shall meet in an open Public Meeting on September 11, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., at City Hall, 130 W Main to interview each individual whose name is submitted and who meets the qualifications for office under Utah Code Ann. ¶10-3-301. The city council shall vote in open session during the Town Council meeting after interviewing candidates.
