The State of Utah DHHS and Local Public Health Governance Committee Meeting Approve Minutes: August 18th, 2025 Grant Title Executive Committee Review Description Early Childhood Governing and Financing Project (ECGFP) 1/1/26 to 12/31/27 $250,000 Needs Review IPHS Exec has reviewed an application request from Jennifer Floyd in DFH for the Early Childhood Governing and Financing Project (ECGFP). A motion was made and passed to recommend approval of the application to Governance, noting a request for the Program to return to an IPHS Exec meeting to review the budget if funds are awarded. The Early Childhood Governing and Finance Project (ECGFP) grant aims to support state-based reforms in early care and education governance and financing. The project seeks to help states shift from a program-specific approach to an early childhood systems approach, ultimately improving availability of affordable, high-quality ECE experiences for all young children.
