Description/Agenda

The purpose of this request is to solicit proposals for the procurement of an Bullwheel Tensioner as described by the requirements listed below. The City will make a selection based on the various criteria discussed herein, and not solely on quoted price. As such, proposers are invited to convincingly discuss the advantages of their equipment over potential competitors. Each company should also highlight any additional accessories or options they offer. Bidders must satisfy themselves of the accuracy of requirements of this RFP. Any and all questions pertaining to the RFP must be submitted through Virtual Bid. After proposals have been submitted, the Bidder shall not assert that there was a misunderstanding concerning the requirements detailed in this RFP. The City may make such investigations, as deemed necessary, to determine the ability of the Supplier to deliver the Bullwheel Tensioner and the Supplier shall furnish to the City all such information and data for this purpose as the City may request. The City reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Supplier fails to satisfy the City that such Supplier is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to deliver the Bullwheel Tensioner contemplated therein.
