UTAH DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (UDOT) NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING SR-171 (3300 S); 2700 E to I-215 The purpose of this notice is to advertise a public hearing on Tuesday, September 16, at 6:00 p.m. MDT, at Millcreek City Hall (1330 East Chambers Avenue, Millcreek). This hearing is regarding proposed work to be performed along 3300 South from 2700 E to the west side of the I-215 interchange in Millcreek, Utah. The Project includes a 1' mill and pavement overlay of the existing road pavement. Planned improvements include; Restriping the project area to reduce 3300 South to two lanes and allow for a buffered bike lane, restoration of existing striping, replaced signs as identified by UDOT Region 2 Traffic & Safety, reconstruction of valve boxes and manholes, installation of new fiber lines in existing conduit, replacement of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) boxes, and the reconstruction of pedestrian ramps. Improvements are being proposed by the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) as a measure to improve safety and access management at the intersection.
