PUBLIC NOTICE
CITY OF MONTICELLO, UTAH
ANNEXATION POLICY UPDATE PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Monticello City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, to receive comments on the Monticello City Annexation Policy Update. The purpose of the meeting will be to allow residents and property owners to provide input - whether in support of the plan, to express concerns, or to propose modifications. The hearing will begin at 7:00 pm at the Hideout Community Center, 648 S Hideout Way, Monticello UT 84535. A copy of the updated Annexation Policy is available for public inspection in the office of the City Recorder.
Written comments may be sent to the City of Monticello, PO Box 457, Monticello, UT, 84535 Attn: City Recorder, delivered in person at 17 N 100 E, Monticello UT, or via email, melissa@monticelloutah.org. Comments will be accepted and considered up to 10 days after the meeting (September 19, 2025).
The public is invited to attend all City meetings. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, anyone needing special accommodations to attend this Public Hearing may contact the City Office, 435-587-2271, at least three days prior to the hearing.

Monticello City Council holds meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, unless otherwise posted, at the Hideout Community Center, 648 S Main, beginning promptly at 7:00 p.m. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, anyone needing special accommodations to attend a meeting may contact the City Office, 587-2271, at least three working days prior to the meeting. City Council may adjourn to closed session by majority vote, pursuant to Utah Code Section 52-4-4 & 5.
