NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Commercial Sewer Billing Methodology Change
Midvalley Sewer District will hold a public hearing to receive input and discuss a proposed change in the billing methodology for commercial sewer customers.
This proposed change will not increase the sewer service rate ($33.80 per ERU remains unchanged) but will revise how commercial accounts are billed by using indoor water consumption to calculate Equivalent Residential Units (ERUs). This methodology is an industry-standard practice used by many surrounding cities and sewer districts and is designed to promote fairness and accuracy in billing based on actual usage.
