NOTICE AND AGENDA OF SPECIAL WORK MEETING OF THE CENTRAL VALLEY TOWN COUNCIL August 1, 2025 Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 52-4-2, UCA,1953 as amended, that the Central Valley Town Council will hold a special meeting called by Mayor Gary Barney Friday, August 1, 2025, at the Central Valley Town Hall, 50 West Center Street, Utah at the hour of 6:00 PM Agenda shall be as follows: 1. Calling meeting to order 2. Roll Call: 3. Consideration of council vacancy - a. vacancy of council seat and reason for vacancy (resignation) b. Review of legal requirements: i. Be a United States citizen ii. Be a registered voter of Central Valley Town iii. Be a resident of Central Valley Town for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the appointment date. 4. Introduce candidates: a. Joe Reynolds b. Terri Sorensen c. Gary Zeluff d. Stephanie Bruse e. Diana Brian f. Glen Christensen 5. Council conducts interviews with candidates: 6. Council actions to fill the vacancy: a. Vote: b. Results i. Tie-breaking procedure (if needed) c. Motion to appoint: d. Vote on appointment: 7. Swearing in of the new council member. 8. Adjournment. I hereby certify that the foregoing notice and agenda was posted on the Utah State Public Notice Website www.utah.gov/pnw/ , Central Valley Town's website www.centralvalleytownut.com , on the Central Valley Community Center kiosk, on the Central Valley Facebook page and delivered to each member of the Central Valley Town Council; David Nielson, Susan Outzen, Kody Winkel.
