- SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, September 2, 2025, a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. by the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance that would vacate a City-owned alley situated adjacent to properties located at approximately 373 West American Avenue. The proposal would close the alley to public use and allow the property owner of three of the four adjacent properties to potentially redevelop this site (the other adjacent property owner also supports the alley vacation.) The alley cannot be used as a mid-block connection because the 900 South viaduct is directly to the south. Located within Council District 5. Petitioner: Jarod Hall. Petition No.: PLNPCM2023-00636. All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard on this matter. This meeting will be held via electronic means, while also providing an in-person opportunity to attend or participate in the hearing at the City Hall, located at 451 South State Street, Room 315, Salt Lake City, Utah.
