Notice is hereby given that the Laketown Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Laketown Office located at 10 North 200 East Laketown, Utah
Public Hearing on Proposed Ordinance Regarding changes to the entity that oversees the administration of building permits in Laketown.
The Laketown Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider an ordinance that changes which entity oversees the administration of building permits in Laketown. Currently, Rich County handles the administrative process for issuing building permits, with final approval completed by the building inspector. Under the proposed ordinance, the administrative responsibility for issuing building permits would transfer from Rich County to the Town of Laketown.
On Wednesday, August20, 2025 at 3:30 PM a copy of the foregoing notice was posted on the Utah Public Notice website at http://pmn.utah.gov and on the Laketown website at www.laketownutah.com. A copy was posted in conspicuous view inside
and outside the Laketown Town Office in Laketown, Utah, and inside of the Laketown post office and at Dee's Service Station.
