Invitation to Bid:
The City of South Salt Lake will accept bids for the project titled: SSLC Davis Tank Lid Replacement, until 2:00 PM on 9/12/2025. Bids received after 2:00 PM will not be opened. Bids must be submitted through the Utah Public Procurement Place website (Bonfire). The scope of work for this contract generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: Removal and replacement of the lid of a steel drinking water storage tank, abrasive blasting and coating of the interior of the tank, recoating of the exterior of the tank at locations identified in the Contract Drawings and areas disturbed during construction, cleaning of the interior of the tank once work is completed (OWNER shall disinfect tank prior to placing into service), and restoration of site disturbed during construction. Plans and specifications for the project can be obtained from Bonfire or the City Engineer, Chris Merket, at cmerket@sslc.gov after 3:00 p.m. on 8/12/2025. There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for this project at South Salt Lake City Council Room, 220 E Morris Ave. South Salt Lake City, Utah 84115 located on the 2nd Floor on 8/21/2025 at 2:00 PM. Attendance will be accounted for. Submitted bids will be opened and read aloud at 2:30 PM on 9/12/2025 at South Salt Lake City Council Room, 220 E Morris Ave. South Salt Lake City, Utah 84115. A 5% Bid Security will be required. The City of South Salt Lake reserves the right to reject all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
