PUBLIC NOTICE Invitation to Submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ): City of South Salt Lake Landscape Maintenance Services Pool The City of South Salt Lake will accept Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for a Landscape Maintenance Services Pool. South Salt Lake City intends to create a landscape maintenance service pool consisting of one or more qualified companies, so to streamline the contracting process whenever the need for small projects, questions, or services arise. Qualified candidates will be selected for a pool of service providers that can be retained on an as-needed basis. This pool will expire every 5 years after which the pool will undergo the RFQ process again. Proposals will be accepted until September 5, 2025 at 3:00pm MST. Proposals may be submitted in person to the City Recorders office at South Salt Lake City Hall (220 E Morris Ave.), or by email at aandrus@sslc.gov , or accepted via direct submission to the Utah Public Procurement Portal (UP3). No late proposals will be accepted, and proposers are responsible for verifying timely receipt of their submission. Candidates may provide one or more of the requested services: Treating turf areas, including the use of herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers. Weed control, trimming, pulling and spraying herbicides. Tree care, including trimming and removing low-risk tree limbs, trunks and stumps. Installing landscape materials, including trees, shrubs and mulch. Installing and repairing irrigation systems. Removing solid waste and garbage, including items that may require large equipment to remove. Related tasks as determined.
