NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that the DAVIS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH will hold a public hearing in Room #2021 of the Davis County Health Department, 22 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah, at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025. Pursuant to Utah Code 26A-1-12(1), the Board of Health will hold a public hearing to afford interested persons an opportunity to submit written data, views, and comments regarding proposed changes to the Public Pool Regulation. The proposed changes include requiring inspections during the construction of a public pool, allowing the Department to require a qualified professional to attest to the safety of a structure prior to renewing a permit, modifying language regarding late fees and permit renewals to all pools, and updating the fee schedule. In addition to updating the current fees, the changes to the fee schedule also include adding a site review fee, a non-compliance fee, and a change of ownership fee and removing the fee for hydrotherapy pools.
Copies of the proposed regulation are available for review at the Administration Offices of the Health Department located at 22 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah, or the Utah Public Notice Website.
