Attention: Legal Advertising Representative For publication: Friday, August 15, 2025 or Sunday, August 17, 2025 For: South Jordan City Phone: 801-254-3742 CITY OF SOUTH JORDAN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the South Jordan City Council will hold an in-person public hearing on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the South Jordan City Hall, located at 1600 W. Towne Center Drive, South Jordan, Utah, for the purpose of receiving public input on and reviewing each of the following: 1. The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the 2024 program year. The CAPER reviews spending and accomplishments for the City's $235,886 CDBG award. 2. Community needs generally to be considered for funding in the 2026 CDBG program year. The meeting may also be joined virtually via Zoom.us phone and video conferencing. All those who desire to attend the meeting via Zoom, please visit https://www.sjc.utah.gov/241/City-Council for further instructions on the day of the meeting. Ability to connect and comment is dependent on an individual's internet connection, not the City. The 2024 CAPER will be available for public review and comment from Aug. 18, 2025 to Sept. 17, 2025 on the City's website, sjc.utah.gov/CDBG; by hard copy at City Hall, the Community Center, and the Public Works Building; and upon request. Comments may be submitted at the hearing, or by emailing, writing, or calling the City through Sept. 17. The City will provide reasonable accommodations, including necessary interpretation, translation, and technical assistance, for all timely requests.
