SYRACUSE CITY ROUNDABOUT LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION PROJECT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Separate sealed Bids for the installation of landscaping and irrigation at our 1000 West 2700 South roundabout will be received by Syracuse City Administration at 1979 West 1900 South, Syracuse Utah, 84075, until 2:00 p.m., prevailing local time, on August 28, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time on that date at the address listed above. Electronic submission will not be accepted. The landscaping and irrigation system will consist of: Install commercial-grade weed barrier over approx. 3,300 square feet. Supply and install: - 1/2' 'Café Roca A' crushed stone - 14 cubic yards (4' depth over 1,100 sf). - 1.5' 'Mojave' crushed stone - 14 cubic yards (4' depth over 1,100 sf). - Decorative Color Rock - River Cobble Rock 2'-3' - 14 cubic yards (4' depth over 1,100 sf). - Brown steel edging - 260 linear feet (8'x4' 14 gauge). - Tan/brown boulders - 12 total (3-4' tall by 3-6' wide). Email Stephen Marshall at smarshall@syracuseut.gov to request to be placed on the plan holder list. A copy of the bid documents and plan design will be emailed to interested Contractors at no charge. No paper copies will be available for purchase. Bidders must obtain the plan design directly from Syracuse City to be included on the official plan holders list. A bidder must be on the official plan holders list to submit a bid. No pre-bid conference will be held. Email questions to smarshall@syracuseut.gov. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, a bid security subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty-five (35) days after the date of the opening thereof. Dated this 12th day of August 2025
