Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the LaVerkin City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the City Council Chambers located at 111 South Main Street, LaVerkin, Utah, for the purpose of receiving public input regarding a proposed ordinance that would increase the annual compensation of the LaVerkin City Recorder and the LaVerkin Recreation Director. This compensation adjustment is being considered pursuant to Utah Code §10-3-818 and outside the budget adoption or amendment process. The proposed increases will be adopted by ordinance following the public hearing, if approved. All interested persons are invited to attend and provide comment. Written comments may also be submitted in advance to the City Recorder at the above address or via email at [Insert City Email Address]. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations should notify the City Recorder at (435) 635-2581 at least three working days prior to the hearing.
