Amalga Town Council will hold a public hearing followed by the monthly town council meeting
Wednesday July 9, at 6:30 p.m.
at the Amalga town hall

3. Approve Minutes of June 17th meeting
a. Move to accept Paul Hansen

4. Public Hearing COG Chip and Seal 5720 N to 6590 N 2400 W.
a. Submitted a project that goes from town hall to the river bridge. Chip and seal and then a fog layer on top.
b. Amount 194,000. We pay 8% of this.
c. Present the project to the mayors in October. November the votes will be tallied. The tally will then be presented to the county council, and they will award the money from there.
d. In the past we have done from town hall Olague's, Munks to Lindley's and from Sid Munks down to 5900 North. The only thing we haven't done is from the Town hall to the Bridge, which is this project.
e. Questions about potholes? Mayor has been in contact with Parson's to get an estimate on filling potholes around town.

9. Approval for the COG 2025 Project.
a. Motion to approve the 5900 N - 6590 N 2400 W Chip and seal project. $194,000

i. Talk to Ed about doing the bark and fixing the restrooms
ii. Replaced tree at park

vii. Ice cream guy is coming on Friday of the town celebration
viii. I bought a new sprinkler and need tires for wheelbarrow
ix. Youth council has pop in shed for celebration

i. Working with Youth council for Pioneer Day.

i. Kacee Put together a water quality report. Which will be put on our website and posted on the board outside of town hall.
ii. Kacee will do water sampling this year.
iii. Will talk to Kacee about exercising our Fire Hydrants.

b. Did the chip and seal road project down by Lindley's they will have to come back and add more Chips on the corners
c. Been to a few COG meetings
d. Meeting with Schreiber's regarding the Well project on the 14th.
e. Mosquito spraying: I have been trying to go twice a week and will do that through September.
