Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council Economy System Committee will hold a meeting on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, beginning at approximately 3:30 P.M. You may attend the meeting at the anchor location: the CWC offices located in the Brighton Bank building, 311 S. State Street Ste. 330, Salt Lake City, or virtually by registering at the below link. Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the above-referenced meeting. 3:30 P.M. Opening
1. Chair John Adams will open the public meeting as Chair of the Economy System Committee of the Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council.
2. Review and approval of the minutes of the June 11, 2025 meeting.
3:30 P.M. Canyon Funding Needs Discussion
1. The committee will review their list of canyon funding needs and propose a survey of the Stakeholders Council to expand and prioritize the list.
2. The committee will discuss soliciting feedback from the Board on securing funding for specific needs, including Wag Bags and air quality monitoring.
3:50 P.M. System Committee Meeting Review
1. Committee members will share thoughts on other committee meetings they attended in place of last month's meeting.
4:00 P.M. Off-Season Ski Resort Activities
1. The committee will discuss ski resort efforts to increase their off-season activity.
4:10 P.M. Park City and Summit County Economy Discussion
1. The committee will discuss economy-supporting projects in the Wasatch Back that could be replicated on the Wasatch Front.
4:20 P.M. Committee Agenda-Setting Process Discussion
1. The committee will discuss and consider a rotating agenda-setting responsibility.
4:25 P.M. Other Items
4:30 P.M. Closing
1. Chair Adams will call for a motion to adjourn the Economy System Committee meeting.
