Public Notice: Reauthorization of the 1/10th of 1% Sales Tax to Fund Parks and Recreation Programs Notice is hereby given that a proposition titled 'Reauthorization of the 1/10th of 1% Sales Tax to Fund Parks and Recreation Programs' will appear on the November 4, 2025 ballot. This proposition seeks voter approval to continue the existing 0.1% sales tax to support parks and recreation programs in the North Sevier area. The proposition will be assigned a number by the Lt. Governor's office and will be the same in all three North Sevier Communities. A voter information pamphlet, including arguments for and against the proposition, will be prepared by the end of August 2025. Residents interested in submitting an argument for or against the proposition may send their written statements to Nancy Hampton at PO Box 117, Redmond, UT 84652, or via email to redmondtown@gmail.com. All submissions must be received by August 25, 2025, to be included in the pamphlet, which will be mailed to voters no later than September 15, 2025.
