Box 240 Stockton, Utah 84071 Phone: (435) 882-3877 Notice is given that the Stockton Town Council will hold a regular meeting as identified below in the Town Council Chambers at the Stockton Town Hall 18 N. Johnson Street, Stockton, Utah. In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, any individual who may need special accommodations including auxiliary communicative and services during this meeting shall notify the Town Clerk at (435) 882-3877 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. The order of Agenda Items may be changed if deemed appropriate by the Mayor or Town Council. Time limits, if any listed for Agenda items are approximate and may be accelerated or delayed. Public Comments-None 4. Close Public Comments 5. Consent Agenda a. Check Register b. Bills over $1,000.00 c. Approval of May 2025 meeting minutes Motion, Joe, 2nd Antoinette ALL APPROVED 6. Department Reports: a. Sheriffs Report - 12 details, 10 citation b. Stockton Fire Dept- including Fire Dept Budget Discussion- 18 calls for er response. Testing fire hydrants currently. Open house to the new Fire station in South Rim. Areas owned by kennicott will be mowed down, by state or county. 3 yr project. $7500 left to mitigate weeds in town. Mower is broke and should be fixed soon. Picked up Fire truck in Oregon, currently in Salt Lake getting pump test and decals. Should be in service in a month. NO FIREWORKS, very dry out side. c. Planning and Zoning Report- business licenses, can we charge fee? Other municipalities charge $25, Do we need to do a study, If you have water connection, you get to build? No, the size of the property makes the difference. Charging a new business $25. Admin costs, when P&Z and Town Council, have to make copies. d. Mayors Report- Hale Sand and Gravel sent over a bid to repair up by the ball park and clark st, Possibly do walk and don't walk st. County will send funds. Arrow on top of tab trying to get a national historical monument. e. Recreation f. Roads and Grounds g. Solid Waste h. Water i. Sewer 7. PUBLIC HEARING 2025-2026 Budget hearing NONE 8. Resolution 2025-05 adopt 2025-26 Tentative Budget- Motion Joe, 2nd Shyla All Approved 9. Resolution 2025-06 cemetery grant contract -ground penetrating radar will find graves, they survey it and mark it. each plot has 8 graves. Every 4 plots will be marked. Aluminum or plastic?? Motion, Antoinette, 2nd Joe ALL Approved 10. Resolution 2025-07 Personnel policy- 2 hours per pay period. for partime for sick leave. Dr note needed for 3+ day missing work. Motion, Joe, 2nd Shyla ALL APROVED 11. Resolution 2025-08 renewal of business license-Motion Antoinette, 2nd Shyla ALL APPROVED 12. Resolution 2025-09 Correct proposed tax rate 2025-2026- Motion, Joe, 2nd Antoinette, Shyla Abstained 12. Ordinance 2025-01 Business license $25- Motion Antoinette, 2nd Joe ALL APPROVED 13. Scada System- Electronically control water tanks. Monitor tank levels, meeting with engineers next week. 13. Close Public Meeting 14. Motion to move into executive session if needed Executive session: Pursuant to one or more provisions of the Open and Public Meetings Act: a. Discussion of character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; b. Strategy session to discuss collective bargaining; c. Strategy session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; d. Strategy session to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property including water rights or water shares; e. Strategy session to discuss the sale of real property, including water rights or shares; f. Discussion regarding deployment of security personnel, devises, or systems; g. investigative proceedings regarding allegations of criminal misconduct; and/or h. Discussion of protected procurement issues, including protected trade secrets. 15. Reconvene from executive session-Announcement of purpose (s) of closed meeting 16. Council Report 17.
