NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids shall be received (1) electronically uploaded via Bonfire, (2) by U.S. mail addressed to the office of the City Architect, located at 349 South 200 East, Suite 600, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111, or (3) by in-person hand delivery of a hard copy at the office of the City Architect, located at 349 South 200 East, Suite 600, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111 until 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 for the following:
PIONEER PARK PHASE 1, JOB NO. 83230128. Emailed bids or bids delivered to any other location will not be accepted. When submitting a bid electronically, bidders must allow sufficient time before the deadline to complete the forms and upload documents. The bid event will end at the closing time posted on Bonfire. If a bidder is in the middle of uploading a bid when the closing time arrives, Bonfire will stop the process and the bid or bid modification will not be accepted.
Bids will be publicly opened online via Microsoft Teams at or about 2:15 p.m., local prevailing time on August 20, 2025.

The Construction Contract will be awarded in compliance with Salt Lake City's Building Improvement and Public Works Bidding Program which takes into account certain factors in the Bidder's work environment (See Salt Lake City Code Section 3.24.115) (See Document 00 22 16, Article 1.2, paragraph 'A' for a link to the City Code).
ATTENTION TO CONTRACTORS: On August 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., a pre-bid conference will be held in-person and online via Microsoft Teams. Specific meeting instructions will be found on Bonfire prior to the meeting. In-person attendance is highly encouraged by the General Contractors. Sub-Contractors can attend in-person or virtually. A visit to the project site will occur after the pre-bid conference. All contractors intending to submit a bid are invited to attend to obtain relevant information concerning the project. Bidders are advised that information affecting drawings, specifications, conditions, Scope of Work, etc. may be discussed. OWNER assumes no obligation to disclose information discussed at the pre-bid conference to Bidders who do not attend. Absent Bidders assume all risk of failure to attend.
The work will consist of the completion of construction services required to demolish existing elements, including landscape, hardscape, and site electrical; to preserve mature, existing trees; and to build the new Pioneer Park Phase 1 project including civil/sitework, installation of play features, community gathering space(s), pickle ball courts, basketball court, electrical improvements, lighting, walkways, plantings, restoration, irrigation, two custom pavilions, pathways, seating areas, enclosed Dog Park and a small Ranger Station with adjacent restrooms. The project is pursuing SITES certification administered by the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI).
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any Bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
