- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Box Elder County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday August 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the Box Elder County Commission Chambers (Historic Courthouse, 01 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah) to receive input on the following proposed petition(s): PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. ZONING MAP AMENDMENT, Z24-008, Request for a zone change of 48.70 acres from Un-Zoned to RR-1 (Rural Residential - 1 acre) located at approximately 7931 W 10400 N in the Tremonton area of Unincorporated Box Elder County. 2. ZONING MAP AMENDMENT, Z25-010, Request for a zone change of 573.48 acres from Unzoned to AHZ (Agricultural Heritage Zone) in the Thatcher area of Unincorporated Box Elder County. 3. ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT, Z25-11, Request for a text amendment to regulate the treatment of existing water conveyance facilities (canals, ditches, and drain tiles). Any interested parties should plan to attend. Copies of these petitions may be reviewed prior to the public hearing in the Box Elder County Community Development office, Room 34 in the Box Elder County Historic Courthouse.
