Notice is hereby given that South Weber will hold the following public hearings before the City Council to receive public comments on the following proposed ordinances: 1. Water Efficient Landscape Requirements (ORD 2025-14) Notice is hereby given that South Weber will hold a public hearing before the Planning Commission to receive public comment on a proposed code amendment to South Weber County Code Title 10, Chapter 15, Water efficient Landscape Requirements (ORD 2025-14). The purpose is to review an amendment to the city code to modify the landscaping definitions and standards to comply with the Weber Basin Water Incentive Program. 2. Rezone Application Requirements (ORD 2025-15) Notice is hereby given that South Weber will hold a public hearing before the Planning Commission to receive public comment on a proposed code amendment (ORD 2025-15) to South Weber County Code Section 10-2-7. The purpose is to review an amendment to the city code to require a concept plan with a zoning map change (rezone) application. Draft ordinances along with summaries are available on the city website under public notices. The hearings will be held in the Council Chambers at South Weber City Hall, 1600 E South Weber Drive, on August 12, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
