- ORDINANCE NO. O-29-2024 AN ORDINANCE OF EAGLE MOUNTAIN CITY, UTAH, AMENDING EAGLE MOUNTAIN MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 2.20 COMPENSATION SCHEDULE OF STATUTORY OFFICERS PREAMBLE WHEREAS, Utah Code Annotated ยง10-3-818 requires that the governing body of each municipality fix by ordinance the compensation of statutory officers and review it annually; and WHEREAS, Chapter 2.20 of the Eagle Mountain Municipal Code establishes the compensation schedule for statutory officers in accordance with state law; and WHEREAS, the City has reviewed current compensation levels using updated salary survey data to ensure fair and competitive pay for statutory positions; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF EAGLE MOUNTAIN CITY, UTAH: 1. Amendment. Chapter 2.20 of the Eagle Mountain Municipal Code is hereby amended to reflect the updated compensation schedule attached hereto as Exhibit A. 2. Findings. The City Council finds that all required notices, public hearings, and statutory procedures have been satisfied in accordance with Utah law. 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect. 4. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its first posting or publication. ADOPTED by the City Council of Eagle Mountain City on the 15th day of July, 2025. EAGLE MOUNTAIN CITY, UTAH
