Voting Notice - GENERAL ELECTION
THIS IS NOTICE THAT the following offices are to be voted on in the West Point City 2025 Municipal Election:
- MAYOR - 4-YEAR TERM: ONE SEAT AVAILABLE
- CITY COUNCIL MEMBER - 4-YEAR TERM: TWO SEATS AVAILABLE
THE ELECTION DATES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- PRIMARY ELECTION - AUGUST 12, 2025
- GENERAL ELECTION - NOVEMBER 4, 2025
IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY DEPLOYED MILITARY OR AN OVERSEAS CITIZEN ELIGIBLE TO VOTE IN STATE AND LOCAL ELECTIONS, YOU MAY REGISTER TO VOTE AND REQUEST A REGULAR ABSENTEE BALLOT FOR UPCOMING ELECTIONS.

To be valid, a military-overseas ballot shall be:
(1) received by the appropriate election officer not later than the close of the polls; or
(2) submitted for mailing, electronic transmission, or other authorized means of delivery not
later than 12:01 a.m., at the place where the voter completes the ballot, on the date of the
election.
