PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF BENJAMIN DRAINAGE DISTRICT WILL HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING
IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS - ROOM 1400 OF THE UTAH COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING 100 East Center Street, Provo, Utah
August 5, 2025 - 9:00 A.M.
When necessary, board members may participate electronically, with the anchor location as stated above.
The public may participate at the anchor location stated above. Public comments will be limited to two (2) minutes per individual unless otherwise approved by the Board.
WORK SESSION
1. DISCUSS CURRENT CHECKING AND MONEY MARKET ACCOUNT BALANCES
2. DISCUSS CURRENT REVENUE COLLECTION RATES AND USE OF UTAH COUNTY TREASURER TO COLLECT PAST DUE AMOUNTS
3. DISCUSS NEED TO INCREASE RATE TO COVER LONG TERM CAPITAL OUTLAY AND SET A MINIMUM RATE PER PARCEL
4. DISCUSS 2025 PROPOSED BUDGET
5. DISCUSS NEED FOR A PO BOX FOR MAILINGS AND POTENTIAL USE OF EMAILED INVOICES TO SAVE ON POSTAGE COSTS
AGENDA
1. APPROVE THE MINUTES FROM THE DECEMBER 18, 2024 PUBLIC MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF BENJAMIN DRAINAGE DISTRICT
2. APPROVE AND ADOPT THE 2025 BUDGET
3. APPROVE AND ADOPT USING THE UTAH COUNTY TREASURER FOR COLLECTION OF PAST DUE AMOUNTS THAT ARE AT LEAST TWO YEARS IN ARREARS
4. APPROVE AND ADOPT OBTAINING A PO BOX AT THE SPANISH FORK POST OFFICE
5. SET THE DATE FOR 2026 NOTICES TO GO OUT WITH THE 2026 TENTATIVE BUDGET AND NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADOPT THE FINAL 2026 BUDGET
6. SET THE DATE, TIME AND LOCATION FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO DISCUSS PLANS TO INCREASE RATES.
