1. Purpose
The Trenton Town Council on behalf of the Trenton Cemetery, is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide grave opening and closing services at the Trenton Town Cemetery, a small community cemetery located in Trenton, Utah.

2. Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the following services:
- Grave opening and closing for full burials and cremation interments.
- Backfilling and restoration of gravesite after burial.
- Snow removal over gravesite when necessary
- Removal of excess dirt and debris.
- Emergency or short-notice burials may occasionally be required.
- Compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding cemetery operations.

3. Contract Term
The initial contract will be for a term of two (2) year(s) with the possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.

4. Minimum Requirements
- Valid business license.
- Liability insurance coverage (proof required).
- Experience performing cemetery opening and closing services.
- References from at least two similar clients (preferred).

5. Bid Submission Requirements
Bids must include the following:
- Completed Bid Form (attached)
- Pricing per service (full burial, cremation, weekends/holidays, short notice, etc.)
- Proof of insurance and licensing
- Relevant experience and references
- Any additional fees or charges
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked 'Cemetery Services Bid' and delivered to:

6. Evaluation Criteria
Bids will be evaluated based on the following:
- Cost of services
- Contractor qualifications and experience
- References and past performance
- Availability and responsiveness
- Compliance with bid requirements

7. Right to Reject
Trenton Town Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the cemetery.
