INVITATION TO BID JORDAN BASIN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 1253 West Jordan Basin lane Bluffdale, Utah 84065 Sealed Bids for construction of the STATE STREET SEWER IMPROVEMENTS project, will be received by the Jordan Basin Improvement District (the 'District') electronically uploaded via Bonfire until 2 pm local prevailing time, on August 04, 2025, at which time at said office the Bids will be publicly opened and, except for obviously non-responsive Bids, publicly read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend. The Work includes Installation of 660 LF of 15' PVC Sewer Pipe using Open Trench method, 135 LF of 10' PVC Sewer Pipe using Open Trench method, installation of a 9'x10' diversion box structure, 2 (two) 60' sewer manholes, abandoning sewer pipe and manholes, and all appurtenant items., in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents are described in Article 9 of the Agreement (Section 00500 of the Project Manual). The Bidding Documents are comprised of each of the proposed Contract Documents and include the following Bidding Requirements: the List of Prequalified Contractors, if any; this Invitation to Bid (Section 00100 of the Project Manual); Instructions to Bidders (Section 00200 of the Project Manual); Information Required of Bidder (form, Section 00260 of the Project Manual); Bid (form, Section 00300 of the Project Manual); Bid Schedule (form, Section 00310 of the Project Manual); Bid Bond (form, Section 00320 of the Project Manual), and all Addenda issued prior to the receipt of Bids. The Bidding Documents may be examined at the office of the Engineer: Consor Engineers 38 E Scenic Pointe Dr. Draper, UT 84020 An electronic copy of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Owner for No Charge. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the District office on July 15, 2025 at 2:30 PM. Bids must also be accompanied by a completed Information Required of Bidder and any other documents and information which may be required by the Instructions to Bidders to be submitted with the Bid. Bids shall be in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders and all other Bidding Documents. Bids shall be guaranteed by the Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of Bid opening. During this sixty (60) day period of time from the date of Bid opening, Bids may not be modified, withdrawn or cancelled by the Bidder (except for the very limited situations stated in the Instructions to Bidder). The District hereby reserves the right to cancel this Invitation to Bid at any time prior to Bid opening, to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularity or informality in a Bid not involving price, time or changes in the Work or the bidding procedures, and to make award or to refuse to make award in the best interest of the District.
