SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL SYNOPSIS OF SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE 46 of 2025 The Salt Lake City Council, at its July 1, 2025, meeting adopted an ordinance amending various sections of Title 21A of the Salt Lake City Code relating to public hearing requirements for appeals and variances. The ordinance makes the necessary changes to comply with House Bill 368 (HB368), adopted by the Utah Legislature in 2025 and went into effect on May 7, 2025. One part of HB368 prohibits cities from holding a public hearing for any appeals of a land use decision and requests for variances. Petition No.: PLNPCM2025-00327.
