DESCRIPTION OF BIDDING PROCESS AND NOTICE INVITING BIDS
BIDDING PROCESS. This Invitation to Bid invites actual bids from qualifying cleaning service providers. Inquiries about this Invitation to Bid may be submitted to the District through Utah.bonfirehub.com on or before 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2025. Bidders shall submit either sealed electronic bids via Bonfire Software, or a hard copy (paper) bid to the District on or before 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2025, at which point all bids will be opened.
RECEIPT OF BIDS. Sealed bids will be received by the District at its offices located at 1253 West Jordan Basin Lane, Bluffdale, UT 84065 until 2:00 p.m., on Friday, August 14, 2025 for the Invitation to Bid entitled 'JANITORIAL AND CLEANING SERVICES.' Electronic sealed bids will also be accepted via Bonfire.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The District seeks bids from qualified vendors. Services include, but are not limited to, general janitorial and cleaning services such as emptying trash cans, vacuuming and cleaning carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting furniture, cleaning hard surfaces in offices and break rooms, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, and other various cleaning required in District work areas. Spaces include offices, meeting rooms, break rooms, restrooms, training rooms, hallways, stairwells, and open spaces in an office setting.
SPECIFICATIONS: A full description of work, cleaning frequency, and areas of each building is included in Part D of these documents. All vendors must attend one of the two scheduled site visits to be eligible to submit a bid.
BID ITEMS. Any Bidder must bid to provide all items.
LENGTH OF CONTRACT: The term of this contract will be for one year, with four one-year extension options, not to exceed five (5) years total.
PRICES. Prices quoted must include all services. Prices shall be firm for the duration of the agreement. Prices for successive annual terms may be adjusted as provided herein.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bidder must have operated continuously for a minimum of five (5) years as an established company in providing janitorial and cleaning services.
- Bidder must provide at least three (3) references of similar size and type of entity for which they have provided janitorial and cleaning services.
- Bidder must attend one of the scheduled site visits on either July 28 or July 30 at 10:00
a.m. beginning at the JBWRF Administration Building located at 13826 S. Jordan Basin Lane, Riverton UT 84065.
ADDRESS AND MARKING OF BIDS. The envelope or package enclosing the bid shall be sealed and addressed, delivered or mailed to:

The envelope shall be plainly marked in the upper left-hand corner with the name and address of the Bidder and shall bear the words: 'JANITORIAL AND CLEANING SERVICES.'
OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any formality in a bid and to make awards in the interest of the District. Discounts offered under payment terms, or award of multiple bid items to a single Bidder, will be evaluated to determine the lowest overall cost and best service to the District.
